Ted Ong specializes in retirement, fiduciary and estate planning. He is a nationally recognized expert on the Uniform Prudent Investor Act and has been an investment professional since 1983. He teaches the on-line “Management of the Investment Portfolio” class offered by California State University at Fullerton’s Trustee Certification Curriculum and has taught numerous fiduciary investment classes. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford and an MBA from Brigham Young University. In 2006 Ted returned from a sabbatical, serving as the President of the China, Hong Kong Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Amelia, supervised the efforts of 150 missionaries in the region.

Jeremy L. Lau joins PIN as its Chief Investment Officer having spent 11 years in the investment banking industry. He was most recently an Executive Director with Deutsche Bank’s Asian convertible bond business in Hong Kong where he was responsible for the pricing, structuring, and distribution of equity-linked capital for multinational corporations in the region. He started his career with Deutsche Bank in Tokyo in 2006 with their flow/structured credit group and also previously worked at UBS as an Associate Director in Convertible Bond Sales. He earned a degree in Accounting (with Honors distinction) from Brigham Young University in 2006. Mr. Lau has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Jared Ong joined PIN in September 2010 as a Portfolio Analyst, having worked previously at the Capital Group Companies (American Funds) as a business systems analyst specializing in trade procedures and bank messages formats. While at the Capital Group, he was integral in improving equity, fixed income and foreign exchange trade processes for the firm’s American Funds trade operations group. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Music. Time permitting, you might find him moonlighting as a composer and pianist for local events.

Elisa Williamson manages operations and marketing. She served on the steering committee for the San Diego Fiduciary Abuse Specialist Team and also on the National Guardianship Association Education Committee. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Education from Brigham Young University. A Board of Trustee member of the local school district since 2000, Elisa takes advantage of the wonderful Southern California weather by growing vegetables, citrus, avocados, peaches, apricots and apples.
